Central Florida Integrated Corridor Management Modeling

CTG is a key member of a team that was recently selected to design and build online and offline modeling systems for the Central Florida Integrated Corridor Management System. The modeling systems will serve as the core for both the Predictive Engine, part of the Decision Support System, and the Planning Model. The modeling system will consist of mesoscopic, microscopic, and real-time modeling for an area of 800 square miles centered on downtown Orlando. This will be the first real-time model in the state of Florida.

The team is responsible for developing, testing and deploying the model system within three years. The team will also provide technical support services throughout the contract. When complete, the online model will predict traffic over 800 square miles 30 minutes into the future every five minutes.
