Ayberk has expertise in mesoscopic simulation travel modeling, emergency evacuation, GIS applications, statistical modeling, different programming languages regarding machine learning, and big data analysis.
While working on his Ph.D. at Florida State University’s Transportation Research Group, he led graduate students in completing various projects, sponsored by FDOT, U.S. DOT, NSF, and other funding agencies.
Software experience includes S.T.O.P.S, R, Python, CUBE/FSUTMS Voyager and Avenue, PostGIS, PostgreSQL, ArcMap/GIS, Erdas Imagine, Synchro, and MATLAB. Ayberk has authored more than 15 conference papers and publications in reputable scientific journals.
