Mr. Carl Weckenmann has nearly 20 years of transportation planning experience. He served as Director of Transit Planning at the Jacksonville Transportation Authority for over seven years. He was also the Managing Director of Planning and Communications at Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority, after serving in various roles in North Texas and Central Oklahoma. Carl has experience with a wide variety of transit planning projects, including long-range efforts such as FTA Section 5309 New Starts Corridor level projects, Bus Rapid Transit planning, and Transit Development Plans as well as short-range efforts such as route restructures, and service scheduling. In addition to planning, Carl has experience with FTA grants programming and management, National Transit Database (NTD) reporting, operations oversight, and civil rights oversight.
