Dr. Yang is a recent addition to CTG, who joined us from National Research Council at Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), where he led a Highway Performance Study using National Performance Management Research Data Set, and Travel Pattern Identification with Travel Monitoring Analysis System data. He has widespread research and project experiences in transportation planning, modeling, engineering and data analytics since 2008. His expertise covers traffic and transit-related big-data analytics, transportation performance analysis, travel behavior modeling, driving behavior analysis, and application development. Zhuo has provided practice-ready solutions to multiple federal and state projects with strong programming skills. He is adept at SQL, ArcGIS, Python, R, TransModeler, Objective-C, PHP, and VBA. Zhuo always seeks opportunities to make his research ideas practical by building applications of multiple platforms.
